Allow yourself to disconnect every once in a while from everything that is going on. Take your information from official sources: nowadays there is lots of fake news circulating online which creates panic. Choose to take control of the information you are receiving and choose to watch the news once, at most twice a day.
What can you practically do?
- Choose precise moments to watch the news throughout the day (for example, 1PM and 7PM).
- Only read verified websites to find news about the pandemic.
- A few sources are: the CDC website, World Health Organization, or the Reuters CoVID-19 news stream.
