Question 2
Are you feeling overwhelmed by this constant flow of negative information?
Congratulations on finding the perfect balance between staying informed and maintaining your emotional limits intact!
Remember that every once in a while it’s ok to take a break from the continuous flow of information that we are being flooded with nowadays. Also, get informed from official sources only (CDC, WHO, NHS or other public institutions’ websites). These days we have a lot of fake news circulating online, inducing panic among people. Choose to take control over the information that you are receiving and choose to watch the news once, at most twice a day.
What can you practically do?
- Choose precise moments to watch the news throughout the day (for example, 1PM and 7PM).
- Only read verified websites to find news about the pandemic.
- A few sources are: the CDC website, World Health Organization, or the Reuters CoVID-19 news stream.
